Is there comfort in vengeance? Bond and “M” sniff a shadowy worldwide system of intensity and debasement harvesting billions. As Bond seeks after the operators of a death endeavor on “M,” all streets lead to Dominic Greene, a widely acclaimed engineer of green innovation. Greene, a terrible bit of work, is resolved to verifying a fruitless region of Bolivia in return for helping a strongman arrange an upset there. The CIA looks the other way, and just Bond, with assistance from a resigned government agent and from a strange marvel, remains in Greene’s direction. “M” thinks about whether she can confide in Bond, or if retaliation has him.
