Murphy is an American film school understudy, living in Paris. He had a French sweetheart, called Electra, whom he dated for a long time. At some point, they met and had a no hidden obligations trio with another lady, a youthful blonde Danish young person named Omi, as an approach to add some fervor to their adoration life. Be that as it may, later, he had intercourse with her despite Electra’s good faith, because of which Omi wound up pregnant.
This spontaneous pregnancy cut off the association among Murphy and Electra on a horrendous note, and it constrained Murphy to wed Omi. In one morning, Electra’s mom, Nora, telephones him to inquire as to whether he’s gotten notification from Electra, since she hasn’t got notification from her for a quarter of a year, and given her little girl’s self-destructive propensities. For the remainder of this day, he reviews his previous two years with Electra in a progression of divided, nonlinear flashbacks; how they initially met in Paris, their speedy hookup, and their lives throughout the following two years which is loaded up with medication misuse, harsh sex and delicate minutes.
