
An honor winning critical writer, Lloyd Vogel, hesitantly acknowledges a task to compose an Esquire profile piece on the adored TV symbol Fred Rogers. After his experience with Rogers, Vogel’s point of view on life is changed.
He focuses on the friendship between popular American celebrity Fred Rogers and award-winning journalist Tom Junod. In the fact-based film, the cynical journalist Junod reluctantly agrees to write a letter about Mr. Rogers, and as the duo get to know each other, the journalist’s view of life changes.
